Stockholm trip

In August, I was in Stockholm for 5 days, where I visited Hellstone Music and Slagverket. Hellstone is really the place to be for vintage drums and guitars! Slagverket is targeted on modern stuff.

Left photograph: Top view of my drum kit (left-handed setup). I added a Tama twinpedal and an additional TD7 cymbal pad to the original V-custom kit. The entire kit is placed on a floating floor construction .

Top and middle left photographs : Front view of my drum kit. A combination of Pearl hardware and a Dixon drumrack system is used here to mount toms, cymbals and percussion instruments.

Middle right photograph: Top view of my drumkit. Note that the 13" racktom is mounted in the middle and that the cymbal setup is rather symmetric. In this way it is easier to switch between left handed and right handed setup (my brother, who is right handed, also uses it).

Left bottom photograph: Side view of my drumkit. The PVC 'octoban' drums are clearly visible here. These drums are 6" in diameter and 10" + 16" in length.
Right bottom photograph: This is me in the rehearsal room back in the days....... :-)
